Paint Your Pet In-Person
Paint a watercolor portrait of your pet with watercolor portrait artist Nancy Roman! Bring a 5"x7" photo of your pet (a color photocopy is fine), and after this one two-hour session you'll leave with a portrait ready for framing. No previous painting experience is required, and all materials (paint, paper, brushes, etc.) will be provided.
Because of the technique we will use to draw, your photo needs to be 5"x7". Your picture should be PRINTED, not a photo on your phone or tablet. If you have a picture but you don’t have that size or can’t print it, please contact the library's Reference Desk (call 860-644-1541 or email refswpl@libraryconnection.info) in advance so we can help you.
A close-up of your pet’s face is best, but you can also use a full-length picture. Either will work. If you’d like to attend, but don’t have a pet or picture, that’s okay. Nancy will have several photos to choose from that you can paint.
