Learn About CT Paid Leave! In-Person
The Connecticut Paid Leave Authority is a quasi-public state agency that oversees the CT Paid Leave program in our state, after the law’s passage in 2019. This employee-funded program can be used to take time off work for any FMLA-related reason like welcoming a new child (through childbirth, adoption, or foster care) or caring for yourself or a loved one with a serious health condition. CT Paid Leave can provide up to 12 weeks every year of income replacement for those reasons. In this presentation, CT Paid Leave staff will discuss how to access, navigate, and apply for the program and shed light on your rights as an eligible worker!
