Beautifully Broken: Live Screening and Q&A Panel Discussion

Beautifully Broken: Live Screening and Q&A Panel Discussion In-Person

Join us for a live screening of the documentary film Beautifully Broken, followed by a Q&A Panel Discussion with the film's director, Daniel Herzog, and Jared Buchanan.

Beautifully Broken follows Jared Buchanan, the son of a police officer who died by suicide, as he embarks on a global journey of healing through ultra-endurance running. Fueled by his father’s final request—“Make my death an issue”—Jared runs to confront trauma, break the stigma around mental health, and prove that from the depths of grief, purpose can rise.

Beautifully Broken is a feature documentary exploring the ripple effects of suicide, generational trauma, and the transformative power of endurance. Through the story of Jared Buchanan—who runs ultra-marathons across continents to honor his father's legacy—the film invites audiences to rethink masculinity, mental health, and what healing really looks like. It’s intimate, visceral, and made to spark conversation.
