Smaller American Lawns Today In-Person

Join us for this presentation by Maggie Redfern, Director of the Connecticut College Arboretum, to learn how to transform your lawn with environmentally sound practices. These include planting native plants, removing exotic invasive plants, letting naturalized plants grow, minimizing water consumption, reducing fossil fuel use, and not using chemicals. One of the many benefits of adopting these practices is attracting pollinators, birds and butterflies.

This event is cosponsored by the Down to Earth Garden Club.
